Looks like there is some more dirt on Sarah Palin and how she likes to run the shop out there in Alaska.
It would appear that she bankrupted a state run enterprise and sold it off to her cronies...This would make sense if this was say, the news from Chicago in the 1960's or 1970's Daley era, but this is from 2007 in Alaska. Now I do understand that the current manner in which municipal governments are run, making shady deals with contractors, state legislators, the whole gamut. The pressure the Chamber of Commerce types put on the Noble Executive, but this story here really makes me laugh because in some fashion it really sounds like some old school provincial America type cow rustling story...
From the article: "We, and John McCain, have learned a lot in the last few days about Sarah Palin. We now know about her strange political affiliations, her complicated personal life, but, most importantly, we have seen how she has treated people, managed resources, and wielded power while holding public office. It is abundantly clear that, even within the small scale and limited scope of her experience, Sarah Palin has been an abject failure as a chief executive."
man and to think that Kwame Kilpatrick might be a better public official
